## Summary

Kirklees Council is seeking to procure services titled "Whole Family Working Services" under an open tender procedure within the social work and related services category. This procurement process, active from 1st April 2022 and anticipated to conclude by 31st March 2024, has an estimated total budget of £600,000. The location for service delivery is in the Borough of Kirklees, West Yorkshire. The tender is currently at the award stage, with the successful suppliers being required to demonstrate their contribution towards the Kirklees Stronger Families Outcomes Plan.

This tender presents a promising opportunity for businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to engage in delivering impactful social work services. Companies that have expertise in early help strategies, family support, and data-sharing practices would be well-positioned to compete. With the potential to enter into contracts with up to five providers, businesses should prepare to align their proposals with the specified quality and financial criteria to secure a role in this impactful service provision.

## Notice

These contracts are to embed Whole Family working into provider's service provision. By the end of the contract period, it will be expected that this way of working will be fully adopted by the service, and that this is the minimum expectation of all practitioners working and delivering early help to families. To ensure that this is embedded it will be an essential requirement of the contract to share person level data about families assessed, and those supported to achieve significant and sustainable outcomes, therefore information sharing agreements and sharing of data is key to demonstrating the success of the contract. We have contracted with providers who can clearly demonstrate their impact upon the Kirklees Stronger Families Outcomes Plan (SFOP) referred to within the specification.
