Central Area Council - Provision of Clean and Green Services (Lot 1)

The Council wishes to procure a Provider to deliver an effective and efficient Clean and Green Service across the 5 wards that make up the Central Council area to improve the overall environmental appearance of the area. Although the service will be expected to be reactive to local need, the key aim of the service will be to work flexibly in partnership with the Central, Dodworth, Kingstone, Stairfoot and Worsbrough Ward Alliances, volunteers, community groups and businesses, to build resilience through a community development approach.

Central Area Council - Environmental Education & Campaigning (Lot 2)

Provider to deliver an environmental education and campaigning programme to change attitudes and behaviours though community engagement and promotion of community responsibility. The service will cover the Central, Dodworth, Kingstone, Stairfoot and Worsbrough wards and work closely with the Ward Alliances, volunteers, community groups and businesses in each area. The education and campaigning will focus on improving the environment in the short, medium and long term and will include environmental sustainability and protecting the environment for future generations.
