## Summary

The British Film Institute (BFI) is conducting an active procurement process for "Building Services (M and E)," classified under repair and maintenance services for electrical and mechanical building installations. This tender, initiated under an open procedure, aims to appoint a provider to work in partnership with the BFI to maintain and develop its property portfolio across five sites in the UK. The deadline for bid submissions is set for 4 March 2022, with an award period commencing shortly thereafter. The total contract value is approximately £2.6 million, and the contract term is expected to span three years, with options for renewal.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in mechanical and electrical engineering services, facility management, and maintenance contractors. Companies capable of providing proactive and reactive maintenance services, particularly those experienced in managing large-scale portfolios and supporting dedicated staff, would be well-suited to compete. Given the BFI's commitment to ensuring its venues are safe and engaging, suppliers that can demonstrate a track record in delivering high-quality services at competitive prices will have a considerable advantage in this procurement process.
