## Summary

Southern Water Services Ltd. is conducting a market engagement exercise for the Hampshire Water Transfer and Water Recycling Project (Phase 3), which aims to enhance long-term water supply resilience through innovative construction work, including tunnelling. Southern Water plans to engage with potential suppliers and gather feedback on their current plans. The exercise consists of a Periodic Indicative Notice (PIN) and Request for Information, and it will not initiate the procurement process. The project has an estimated value of £1.3 billion and is included in Southern Water's Water for Life Hampshire programme. The key milestone is the completion of the Request for Information by 22 November 2024, with a series of bilateral sessions scheduled for November 2024 and early 2025 via Microsoft Teams, focusing on design, build, finance, operate and maintain aspects, under Ofwat's Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC) scheme in Hampshire, UKJ.
