## Notice

NGN has an obligation to frequently survey its LTS pipelines, and a limited number of specific distribution mains, to identify building encroachments, ground movement, activities or potential activities by third parties in close proximity to a pipeline or specific main. A key requirement of the survey is to ensure that third parties do not damage, interfere or cause an escape of pressurised gas from NGN's assets.Aerial surveillance is an established and effective method of surveying long lengths of buried pipelines to identify threats and is deemed as an essential safety related service by the Company.

### Procurement Information

The current contract with Heli Air for the provision of Aerial Surveys expires March 31st 2022. The initial plan was to start the tender event in September 2021 but due to a transition in Procurement structure, the start of the event was delayed. An expression of Interest via Achilles has now been issued in December 2021 for anyone wishing to be included in the tender event. A full PQQ / RFP is now scheduled to take place in the first quarter of 2022 with completion in Q2/Q3 2022. We need to allow for any de-mobilisation of the incumbent and mobilisation of a new Supplier within this timeframe, as such October 2022 is a realistic timeframe to set this short term extension until.
