## Summary

The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is initiating a procurement process titled "Access Control System Support Services" for the maintenance of its RiTA/Solicard access control system, which currently runs on Windows XP. This procurement falls under the goods category, with a total budget of £120,000. The current stage of the process is classified as "Planning," and it is pertinent for interested parties to note that all communication regarding this tender must be directed to http://health.atamis.co.uk. The deadline for submissions is set for 17:00 on 16th February 2022, after which the authority may negotiate a long-term contract with the existing supplier, FSH Technical Solutions, if no responses are received.

This tender presents potential growth opportunities primarily for businesses with expertise in access control systems, particularly those familiar with the legacy software and hardware associated with Windows XP. Companies specialising in IT support, system maintenance, or technology solutions related to access control and security systems will find themselves well-positioned to compete. By engaging in this tender, such businesses can establish partnerships with a key healthcare provider and potentially secure a long-term contract that could extend for up to five years, aligning with the trust's plans for system replacement in the future.

## Notice

All communication must be via http://health.atamis.co.uk

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) would like to engage with the market and understand market capability and interest in maintaining NUH's RiTA/Solicard access control system which runs on Window XP.
Due to the age of the system, it has been taken off-line and we are now operating a bespoke standalone network of PC's running the RiTA/Solicard side of our access control for site. This network was built and programmed by FSH Technical Solutions (FSHTS) and we require a support package that is able to fully support the running of the system on Windows XP and offer remote support to site via a bespoke VPN link.
NUH intends to replace the system over the next 5 years.
If no responses are received by 17:00 16th February 2022 the Authority will negotiate a long term contract of up to 5 years with the incumbent supplier, FSH Technical Solutions.
