## Summary

The NHS England is seeking a provider for the development and delivery of a Peer Support Worker training course focused on eating disorders in the South West region. This project falls under the health services category and involves significant engagement with medical specialist services. Key activities include the establishment of a complete training framework and the subsequent delivery of multiple training sessions, which are set to begin in the 2022/2023 financial year. The procurement method for this opportunity is classified as 'limited' and does not involve a prior publication of a call for competition, as identified in the market review.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses involved in specialist training services, particularly those with expertise in peer support frameworks and education within the health sector. Companies that provide training programs for health professionals or have a background in psychological support services would be well-positioned to compete. Additionally, organisations that could manage community engagement initiatives or offer supervised training might find this tender particularly advantageous for expanding their service offerings and enhancing their presence in the healthcare training market.
