## Summary

The Secretary of State for the Home Department has awarded contracts for the provision of the Refugee Employability Programme to various companies. The programme aims to support refugees in England to integrate and become independent. The procurement process was completed on different dates ranging from June to August 2023. The contracts cover multiple regions in England, such as North West, North East, Yorkshire & Humber, West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, London, South East, and South West. The services fall under the main procurement category of 'services', with a focus on community, social, and personal services.

The awarded contracts offer business growth opportunities for companies specializing in employment support, social services, and community development. Organisations with experience in tailored employment support, refugee integration, and social value delivery would find these contracts well-suited for competition. The procurement stage has reached the award phase, with clear dates for contract signings and values specified in GBP. Businesses interested in providing services to support refugees in different regions of England should monitor future opportunities within this sector.

## Notice

An Enhanced Integration Package (EIP) was announced as part of the New Plan for Immigration (NPI) in support of the objective of better protecting and supporting those in genuine need. The NPI sets out our commitment to offer an 'enhanced integration package' to 'support refugees to integrate and become self-sufficient more quickly'. The EIP will be delivered under the name of 'Refugee Employability Programme' (REP). This package will ensure that refugees, arriving via safe and legal routes, have the tools they need to become fully independent and provide for themselves and their families.
