Lot 1

The purchase, delivery and installation of Phantom Heads to assist with the expansion of the Simulated Dental Learning Environment. Due to the student experience all equipment must be compatible with the exisitng Phantom Heads which are unique to this supplier.

### Procurement Information

The University of Plymouth intends to place a contract with Kavo Dental for Phantom Heads which are unique to this supplier and must be compatible with the existing equipment situated in the teaching environment. It is considered that this contract can be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Regulations 32(2)(b)(ii) and 32(2)(b)(iii) of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 on the basis that competition is absent for technical reasons and the protection of exclusive rights.
