## Summary

The Manchester City Council has completed the tender process for the TC1119 Adult Social Care Employability Support. The procurement involved services in the education and training sector. The contracts, which are expected to last for 3 years with an option to extend for up to 2 more years, require the successful supplier to contribute to the economic and social regeneration of the delivery locality. The tender required electronic submission by a specific deadline, with criteria including quality, social value, and environmental considerations.

This tender presents business growth opportunities for companies in the education and training services sector looking to provide adult social care employability support. Businesses focusing on services related to pre-employability, self-development, and supported employment would be best suited to compete. The Manchester City Council has emphasised the importance of social and environmental aspects in the selection and award criteria, offering a chance for businesses with a strong commitment to social responsibility to showcase their capabilities and contribute to the community's well-being.
