## Summary

The University of Birmingham is currently conducting a tender process for the maintenance of its Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems, titled "Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) System Maintenance." This procurement falls within the industry category of repair and maintenance services, with a total contract value of £720,000. The tender is at the active stage and submissions are due by 14 March 2022. The contract period is set for three years with an optional extension of one year, and it will cover maintenance across various facilities in Birmingham, UK.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in maintenance services, particularly those experienced with ventilation and fume extraction systems. Companies offering technical expertise in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements will be well-positioned to compete. The potential inclusion of additional maintenance for a new construction project at the University could effectively double the contract's future value, making this an attractive opportunity for suitably qualified contractors.
