## Summary

The Ministry of Defence is seeking a supplier for the provision of in-service support for Chemical Sense Training Equipment (CSTE VTN) under a limited procurement process, which has transitioned from a previously competitive framework due to a lack of suitable tenders. The contract, valued at £450,000, is currently active and encompasses essential repair and maintenance services for security and defence materials, particularly focusing on equipment used for detecting and monitoring chemical warfare agents. The scope of work is based in the UK, with the contract signed on 14 February 2022, and includes a potential one-year extension option.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in repair and maintenance of defence equipment, particularly those with expertise in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) agent detection systems. Companies that previously supplied to the Ministry of Defence or have capabilities similar to Argon Electronics Ltd, the current supplier, may find this tender particularly relevant. Engaging with this contract can enhance business growth by leveraging established relationships with government entities and expanding service offerings in a niche sector.
