## Summary

The Cabinet Office has awarded a contract titled "Research on the impact of strategic communication interventions" under the classification of research services. This contract, which holds a value of £139,839.55, was signed on 31 March 2021 and relates to delivering evidence-based research on strategic communications and their effects on disinformation. The procurement process followed a limited method, specifically an award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition, due to unique technical reasons. The location for delivery is specified as the UK, and the procurement is currently in the Award stage.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for specialised research firms and consultancies, particularly those with expertise in strategic communications and disinformation studies. Companies in the fields of analytics, intelligence, and advanced technology solutions that have established relationships with government entities or other influential networks may find themselves well-positioned to compete in similar future opportunities. The nature of the work requires firms that can navigate complex issues concerning misinformation, making it ideal for SMEs focused on high-level analytical research and communication strategies.

Access, Trust & Influence: Pattrn Analytics & Intelligence Ltd., provides advanced insights on global information operations, data flows and public understanding of critical issues in disinformation. Pattrn Analytics & Intelligence Ltd. has a critical working relationship with HMG strategic partners which has been built up over many years; the US-based Atlantic Council and its research arm, the Digital Forensic Research lab, as well as a number of international institutions and NGOs working against disinformation.
