## Summary

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, is planning a procurement for a "Framework for Wales for Outcome Collection" aimed at implementing a Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) system across Health Boards and Trusts in Wales. The project, classified under the CPV code 48000000 for software packages, has an estimated value of £1,500,000 and is currently at the planning stage. It is expected to facilitate multiple providers through direct awards or mini-competitions under a framework intended to improve PROMs data collection methods. A supplier engagement event is scheduled for 10th March 2022, with further details to follow. The deadline for future notices is set for 28th March 2022.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for software companies, particularly those specialising in health informatics and digital solutions for patient outcome measurement. Businesses that can offer flexible and interoperable software solutions, aligning with the PROM Standard Operating Model (PSOM) requirements, would be especially well-suited to engage in this procurement process. The eventual implementation of the framework is expected to enhance data linkage and analysis capabilities for Health Boards and Trusts, thus fostering innovation and improvement in patient health management across Wales.

## Notice

The objective of the project is for Health Boards and Trusts in Wales that are looking to implement a Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) system for outcomes collection to work with a relevant PROMs Provider to implement a solution aligned to the PSOM requirements specification (provided with the PIN notice). It is expected that the PROMs Standard Operating Model (PSOM) specification document will meet at least 80% of the core functionality require by Health Boards and Trusts in Wales. A PROMs collection solution(s) Framework for Wales will be implemented to allow chosen multiple Providers to be registered on the framework. This will allow Health Boards and Trusts to create their own call off contract via direct award or via a mini competition route. The value attached to this notice is estimated and is subject to change.
