VEAT notice to announce a 12 month contract to Skweeky Kleen after a termination from our current incumbent Kingdom Services Group Ltd, during this time, AHDB will put together a tender to go out to open market. 4 weeks notice has been given by incumbent supplier, leaving AHDB without time to go out to competition for this opportunity. Reasoning behind termination from incumbent is inability to fulfil contractual requirements, and without putting a short term contract in place with Skweeky Kleen, AHDB would be without any cleaning services, which is not ideal especially in the wave of the pandemic of Covid.

### Procurement Information

Our current contract was terminated by our incumbent supplier with 4 weeks notice, this does not leave enough time to go out to open market. Therefore we are awarding the contract for 12 months which will give AHDB time to get a tender together for publication on the open market. Skweeky Kleen are known to AHDB as a past supplier, and are fully aware this is for a 12 month period only. AHDB are also re-evaluating our current cleaning requirements and felt it would not be right to go out to tender currently until we have confirmation of our needs and requirements moving forward.
