## Summary

The procurement process involves Platform Housing Limited (PHL), a not-for-profit housing organisation located in Solihull, UK, which is seeking suppliers for mobile phones as part of its ongoing need for mobile telephony services. This tender, titled "Mobile Phones," is currently in the active stage of the open procurement process, with submissions due by 25th March 2022. PHL has a substantial contract value of £460,000 and aims to procure both mobile handsets and SIM connections to support its goal of building 12,000 homes over the next five years. The tender involves a range of classifications under the CPV code for mobile telephones and adheres to specific legal requirements under the EU directive.

This tender presents significant opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and businesses specialising in telecommunications and technology solutions. Firms that can provide high-quality mobile devices, particularly those with 5G capabilities, as well as robust service support for the UK's Midlands region would be well-suited to compete. With PHL's emphasis on quality and cost in the evaluation criteria, businesses that can offer competitive pricing without compromising on service quality stand to benefit from this procurement opportunity, potentially establishing long-term relationships with a growing housing provider.

## Notice

Platform Housing Limited (PHL) is a not-for-profit housing organisation that has been established for almost 40 years. PHL provides over 46,000 affordable homes in the Midlands and are building many more homes each year causing PHL's requirements for mobile telephony to constantly change. The current plan is to build 12,000 homes in the next 5 years. PHL's aim is to procure a relevant supplier of both mobile handsets and mobile sim connections for a multitude of devices that have connectivity across the entire Midlands. Any successful tender will go into contract with one of the subsidiaries of PHG - Platform Housing Ltd (PHL), so PHG is unable to contract at the parent company level.
