Awarding the final phase of the contract to Horticon would provide additional continuity for the Trust and has a strategic fit to the Trust's ambition to meet our legal obligations to complete the development of the park as part of a land exchange agreement with Liverpool City Council. Horticon have completed extensive enabling works that will allow for a quicker commencement of the next phase as they have a deep understanding of the constraints and interdependencies of projects across the wider estate.
