### Lot Information

Lot 1

VEAT notice to cover a period of one year, during this time AHDB will put together a mini competition to be released covering our known requirements. It would not be wise for AHDB to go out to mini competition at present until full requirements and numbers are known, it would be imprudent to tie ourselves into a new contract and lease from a financial standing.

### Procurement Information

Due to a current and ongoing restructure, AHDB do not have the figures of the required number of devices moving forward, and therefore from a commercial and financial standing point, it would be imprudent for AHDB to be locked into a contract longer than 12 months. During this time, a mini competition will be put together, the outcome of the ballots in Spring will determine on numbers which can therefore be written into the new scope of requirements. Therefore, AHDB will take out a years extension with the current incumbent to carry us through this period with the understanding that after this date AHDB will go out for further competition.
