The Authority intends to award a new contract to renew the exiting provision for the period: 1 September 2022 to 31st March 2027 (with options to extend by an additional 5 (five) years) at an approximate value of PS0.399m (Inclusive of VAT) to Safran Aerosystems Services UK Limited (Safran UK). It is considered that this contract can be placed on a single source basis (below UK Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 (DSPCR 2011) threshold) without prior publication of a contract notice. Safran UK are the sole European based licensee of the C-17 life rafts and the proprietary original equipment manufacturer.
