## Summary

The West Berkshire District Council has initiated a procurement process for the Transport Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for road transport services. The DPS aims to issue tenders for passenger transport contracts across West Berkshire and beyond. This includes transport for Education and Social Care needs, covering over 120 routes for school days. The process is currently in the active stage with a maximum bid per supplier set at 999 lots, starting from May 9, 2022. The buying organisation is West Berkshire District Council based in Newbury, United Kingdom.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses specialising in passenger transport services to participate in fulfilling the Council's transportation needs. Suppliers are expected to provide safe, reliable, and passenger-sensitive transport services to support educational and social care activities. The tender features selective procurement with a restricted procedure, offering competitive opportunities for SMEs and large-scale suppliers. The DPS is divided into two service lots for small and large vehicles, with a renewed lifetime value of up to £50 million, creating substantial growth potential for successful bidders.
