### Procurement Information

Children's Community Weight Management Pilot, a joint project between Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (GCCG) and Gloucestershire County Council, has been running since 2020 but delivery was severely impacted by COVID-19, delaying delivery and learning from the pilot. The contract between GCCG with the current provider of the Children's Community Weight Management Pilot, expires on 31st March 2022. Gloucestershire County Council, now as sole funder, is seeking to complete the pilot and its evaluation via a 12 month Direct Award Contract, with a view to undertaking a substantive service procurement in late 2022. It is not practical to start with a new provider at this stage because the pilot approach is centred around a coproduction model which is reliant on the trusted relationships that have been built between the provider, and the families and communities they support, which could not be reasonably established, by a new provider for the limited time remaining of the pilot. The value is under the Threshold Amount as stated in Crown Commercial Service PPN 10/21, and thus outside of the scope of the application of the directive.
