## Summary

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is initiating a tender for a comprehensive Rostering System aimed at enhancing its human resource management for 8,250 employees, including Wholetime, Retained, and Volunteer staff. The process is currently in the planning stage, with a significant supplier engagement session scheduled for the week commencing 11th April 2022, followed by one-on-one meetings with selected providers from 9th May to 10th June 2022. This procurement primarily focuses on scheduling and productivity software development services, pertinent to the firefighting and public safety industry, and will serve locations across Scotland.

This tender presents opportunities for software development companies specialised in rostering and scheduling systems, particularly those with experience in providing services to public sector organisations. Businesses that develop electronic timekeeping systems, personnel services software, and time control solutions will find this project aligns well with their capabilities. Engaging with this procurement process can allow firms to strengthen relationships with a key public service entity, potentially leading to further contracts and a role in enhancing operational efficiency within the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
