## Summary

The Forestry Commission, acting through Forestry England, has awarded a framework contract for Planning Support. The contract covers 8 geographic lots divided into different districts across England, such as North District, Yorkshire, Central District, East District, South District, and more. Each lot focuses on specific aspects of planning and conservation within various national parks and woodland areas. The aim is to obtain necessary consents within Town and Country Planning Legislation to facilitate planned works.

This tender presents opportunities for businesses involved in architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services, particularly those experienced in environmental consultancy. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate. Businesses with expertise in working within national parks, special conservation areas, and woodland management are well-suited to compete for the different district lots. The tender process is characterized by an open procedure allowing multiple suppliers to bid for framework lots based on specific award criteria and contract values.
