### Procurement Information

The software product can only be maintained by the original economic operator as they do not have arrangements with third party suppliers. This Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) notice directly awarding this contract without prior publication is to allow the Council to continue to use its current Chipside system that it has configured to meet its business requirement in relation in relation to management of parking enforcement and related services. The current system has been assessed to meet the needs of our business for the duration of this contract award and the organisation does not wish to seek to procure an alternative solution. This new contract/ extension will ensure that the Council continue on the latest version of the system and has technical support should it have any issues.
