Fragile samples, that require extreme care during transport and storage in a temperature controlled, clean environment. Currently stock level of 151 pallets. Equal to 181.2 m2, and 434.88 m3. The temperature set point of storage: -25degC. Any new facility that could offer lower temperature storage may also be beneficial i.e. storage of -40degC for up to 10 pallets would be highly desirable. Transportation from the storage facility to BAS and vice versa in temperature controlled vehicles with a set point of -20degC and the temperature recorded for our records.. Additional information: Required; sample boxes to be stored in a clean environment, free of dust or contaminants; not to be stored with, or immediately adjacent to foodstuffs or other substances that may cause issue for cross contamination. Shared and accessible inventory. We require the new facility to pick boxes from specific pallets and return boxes back onto specific pallets to maintain a comprehensive database.
