## Notice

Belfast City Council is setting up an Enterprise and Business Growth (EBG) Framework Agreement, which will provide capacity to future proof the delivery of agile and responsive business support solutions, adding value to the existing enterprise and business support provision in place across Belfast, and to any regional provision that is established in future. The EBG Framework will have 2 lots - "Grow a Business" and "Social Economy"

### Lot Information

Lot 1 Start a Business

Belfast City Council is seeking to appoint a number of contractors that meet the standards required. The contractors will be able to apply for any number of the workstreams/categories listed. Below are the high level workstreams/categories that the Council has a requirement for, this is not an exhaustive list and further workstreams/categories may be added during the life of the DPS: Category 1 - Start a Business Category 2 - Grow a Business Category 3 - Social Economy Category 3 - Investing in Belfast

Options: See Schedule 1 for details on Optional Services.

Renewal: The EBG DPS will be established for an initial period of four years with an option to extend. The decision on extension of the EBG DPS validity period will be solely at the Council's discretion.

Lot 2 Grow a Business

Summary of Lot 2 Grow a Business: - Suitable for businesses that have been trading for at least 6 months - Specific help with growth issues that the business doesn't have the in-house skills or insight to manage.

Options: See Schedule 1 for details on Optional Services

Renewal: This contract/Framework Agreement shall be for an initial period of three years, with the option to extend for a further year.

Lot 3 Social Economy

Summary of Lot 3 Social Economy: - Suitable for organisations or individuals who have aspirations to establish enterprises in the social economy sector. - Support includes assistance, advice and guidance to generate ideas, develop a business plan, access learning from peers, workshops and access to finance.

Options: See Schedule 1 for details on Optional Services.

Renewal: This contract/Framework Agreement shall be for an initial period of three years, with the option to extend for a further year.

Options: These optional services will be in areas related to the core services and may for example include (but are not necessarily limited to): * Intelligence gathering. * Business plan assessment/challenge. * Managing and monitoring access to finance for participants on behalf the Council. * Collaborative space development and delivery. * Identifying possible funding opportunities; and * Identifying collaborative city-wide projects with external partners.
