The DPS is categorised into Non-Vacuum and Vacuum Compatible Linear Actuators, split further into Encoded and Non-encoded types. The total value of the procurement is £5,000,000 GBP. The deadline for the initial joining stage is 10th November 2022, with the option to extend for a 3rd and 4th year if approved by UKRI. This procurement offers opportunities for businesses, particularly small or medium enterprises (SMEs), to participate in supplying Linear Actuators to the STFC. Actuators with be grouped into specific Categories as follows: Category 1 - Linear Actuators -Non-Vacuum - Encoded Category 2 - Linear Actuators -Non-Vacuum - Non-encoded Category 3 - Linear Actuators - Vacuum Compatible - Encoded Category 4 - Linear Actuators - Vacuum Compatible - Non-encoded There is no guaranteed level of spend through this DPS. There are 4 separate eSourcing links, one for each Category of supply mentioned above. A separate application is required for each Category.
