## Summary

Hampshire County Council is managing the procurement for the "Holiday Activity and Food Schemes" initiative, aimed at funding local authorities to provide free holiday activity schemes in the UKJ3 region. This service-based procurement falls under the CPV classification "Children's holiday-camp services" and targets both children and teenagers. The procurement, based on the open procedure, has progressed to the tender update stage, with substantial funding allocated, as evidenced by a revised procurement value of £20,000,000 excluding VAT. The tender aims to offer structured activity sessions during school holidays, incorporating meals meeting School Food Standards and adhering to educational and safeguarding guidelines. The most recent documentation update occurred on 9th May 2025, following the initial submission period end date on 9th May 2022. Contact for further details is Sarah Cross.

This tender presents considerable opportunities for businesses that specialise in childcare services, youth activities, and nutritional education, especially those with a focus on meeting educational and safeguarding standards. Businesses that can offer innovative and enriching activities or bespoke schemes that cater to different age groups and needs are particularly well-suited to compete. The procurement framework is structured to allow for a diverse range of proposals, from traditional childcare to unique seasonal and community-focused projects. Furthermore, the substantial allocated budget presents an opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to expand their offerings and reach a wider audience through partnerships and funding collaborations.
