## Summary

The London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) is in the planning stage of establishing a national framework for Estates Professional Services across the UK, targeting services in the construction consultancy category. This framework includes seven distinct lots covering services like lead consultancy, project management, quantity surveying, structural engineering, MEP, planning consultancy, and architectural design. The framework is anticipated to operate under NEC 4 PSC, NEC4 PSSC, and JCT terms and conditions for an initial term of two years, with possible extensions up to 24 months. Interested suppliers are encouraged to engage by completing a detailed questionnaire by 31 December 2024, in preparation for the expected market engagement event on 3 February 2025.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses within the construction consultancy sector, especially those with expertise in sustainability, eco-builds, renovations, and projects involving listed buildings. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to participate, as the framework aims to cover both national and regional requirements, creating ample prospects for companies across various specialisms to collaborate with Higher Education institutions and other members of the LUPC. Engaging in this tender could ultimately drive business growth by positioning suppliers as key partners in significant construction projects and supporting the diverse needs of educational institutions and cultural institutions like museums and art galleries.

## Notice

UKUPC is at the early stages of looking to establish a national Professional Services in Construction Framework consisting of seven service provision Lots. The framework will be governed by NEC 4 PSC, NEC4 PSSC andJCT terms and conditions. It will run for an initial two (2) years with a possible extension of up to 24 months. We are interested in engaging with suppliers who may wish to work with the Higher Education sector and understand the drivers for value for money for the associated membership base of UKUPC.
