Kinect Energy UK Ltd (trading as World Kinect Energy Services) has been appointed as their agent to manage this system. This DPS covers petroleum products, fuel, electricity, and other energy sources within the UK's housing and community amenities sector. The procurement method employed is selective, utilising a restricted procedure. This system was initially active with an estimated value of £140 million GBP, including multiple lots for electricity, gas, and water supplies. Despite its initial establishment, the DPS was ultimately terminated as of December 2024, following an earlier active phase beginning in April 2022. This tender offered significant opportunities for growth in the energy supply sector, particularly for businesses licensed by OFGEM for electricity and gas supply, and by OFWAT for water supply. Although the procurement process has now been cancelled, the opportunities presented through this DPS would have suited companies looking to expand their reach and service provision in the UK's public housing and community amenities sector. ## Notice Aspire Housing (The Authority) has appointed Kinect Energy UK Ltd (trading as World Kinect Energy Services) as Agent to establish and manage a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the procurement of the supply of electricity, gas and water. In addition to its own contracting requirements, the Authority intends to use the DPS to allow eligible third party contracting entities (Partners) to purchase supplies of electricity, gas and water. ### Lot Information Supply of Electricity This lot is for the supply of electricity to the sites of the Authority and its Partners. This will be across a combination of Half-Hourly (HH) and/or Non-Half-Hourly (NHH) and/or Unmetered (UMS) supply points. In this context, "supply" includes the sale of electricity by the Authority and/or the Authority's Partners through the export of output from generation assets. The estimated total value of purchases under this Lot for the entire duration of the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is PS85,000,000. The value presented is only an estimate. We cannot guarantee to successful candidates any business through this Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). Spend and/or volumes may/will vary throughout the life of the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) from the anticipated levels stated in this notice. Under this Lot the Authority and its Partners may purchase the supply of electricity from appointed Suppliers under Fixed Price and/or Flexible Purchasing product offerings.
