The Council requires a service for the collection, haulage and emptying of waste containers filled with residual/general waste and green waste from its Household Recycling Centres to Council nominated facilities/delivery points. The purpose of this PIN is to notify the market of the requirement in the future, as well as reduce the timeframes for tendering once this is live. 3. Estimated Annual Contract Value The estimated annual contract value is PS228,643. 4. Place of Performance The Council has 3 sites at the following locations:- * Carryduff, 6 Comber Road, Carryduff, BT8 8AN * The Cutts, Derriaghy, BT17 9HN * Drumlough, Dromara Road, Hillsborough, BT26 6QA 5. Tonnage per site 1 April 2021 - 31 March 2022 Green Waste HRC Site Tonnes Carryduff 1626 Cutts 1469 Drumlough 694 Total 3789 Landfill HRC Site Tonnes Carryduff 445 Cutts 2609 Drumlough 226 Total 3280 Residual HRC Site Tonnes Carryduff 1322 Cutts 2719 Drumlough 617 Total 4658

Renewal: Anticipated contract start date will be 1 November 2022 for an initial period of one year with the option to extend by any period, or periods, up to a maximum of a further four years extension subject to review, satisfactory performance and continued need for the service. Dates are provisional and may be changed at the Council's absolute discretion.
