The aim of the services is to improve the health of Haringey residents and reduce health inequalities by providing services that are tailored to local health needs and improve outcomes of residents in their communities. ### Lot Information Opiate Substance Misuse Service Opiate substitute prescribing (OSP) is the evidence-based treatment for opiate dependency. It includes using medications, including methadone and Buprenorphine combined with psychosocial interventions. Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Haringey General Practices may apply to be registered as a provider of the Enhanced Service for Intra-Uterine Contraceptive Device Fitting (IUCD) if they meet the eligibility criteria for both the practice (premises and systems) and for individual clinicians providing the service. This is an 'Open Access' service for Haringey residents registered with a GP in Haringey, this implies that residents may access this service from participating surgeries irrespective of whether they are registered with the provider surgery. Stop Smoking Service The focus of the Stop Smoking services within GP practices is to offer: Very Brief Advice (VBA) and one to one support to local residents who want to give up smoking.
