### Procurement Information

The Public Contracts Regulation 2015, makes provision under regulation 32(2)(b)(ii) to award public contracts by a negotiated procedure without prior publication where the works/ goods/ services can only be supplied by a particular economic operator due to the absence of competition on technical grounds. The South Eastern HSC Trust currently own a number of PrisMax CRRT machines (purchased through a compliant contract). The consumables and fluids compatible for use with this particular device are only available from Baxter Healthcare. No other consumables or fluids from any other supplier on the market are compatible with this device. The devices will require consumables and fluids for a duration of three years. It is expected after this period of time, a new tender exercise will be run to establish a new contract for CRRT devices and consumables/fluids.
