## Summary

Staffordshire County Council has completed the procurement process titled "The Provision of Opportunities to Improve Attainment and Engage Vulnerable Children and Young People in Education." This initiative focused on education and training services was conducted through a restricted tendering procedure and used a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The procurement aimed to engage multiple suppliers for services within the UK, specifically targeting the region of UKG24, Staffordshire. The procurement stage is complete, with contracts awarded on 1 June 2025, running until 31 August 2025. The project involved a range of educational lots such as full-time and part-time alternative provisions, tutoring, and complementary provisions, designed to support vulnerable children and young people.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses involved in education and training services. Suppliers could tender for different lots tailored to specific educational needs, such as full-time and part-time education outside the standard school setting or supplementary tutoring services. The DPS mechanism allows flexibility and continuous engagement over the timeline, offering recurrent revenue opportunities. This opportunity is particularly suitable for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with capabilities in specialised educational services and who can collaborate effectively with local authority initiatives to enhance the educational outcomes of vulnerable children. Suppliers like CRT Enterprises Limited and past participants have demonstrated success in leveraging this framework to contribute to the community, marking an accessible opportunity for qualified educational service providers.
