## Summary

The procurement process involves Abellio East Midlands Limited, which is seeking tenders for the "Provision of Short Term Maintenance Services for the Class 222 Fleet." This opportunity falls under the railway services industry category and is located in the UK, specifically at the Etches Park Depot in Derby. The procurement is currently in the active stage with a tender period ending on 1st July 2022. Interested bidders are required to submit an expression of interest electronically by this date, and the total contract value is estimated at £15 million for a duration of approximately six to eight months starting January 2023.

This tender offers significant opportunities for companies specialising in rolling stock maintenance and repair services, particularly those experienced with TUPE transfers, as the selected supplier must manage staff transitions both into and out of the contract. Businesses that are well-versed in railway operations and have the capacity to collaborate with design authorities will be particularly competitive. Engaging in this procurement process could lead to substantial growth, given the scale of service required and the established relationship with the incoming class 810 fleet provider.
