## Summary

The procurement process is being conducted by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, which is based in London, UK. The tender titled "The Provision of Railway Chaplaincy Services" falls under the health and social work services industry category and is currently in the planning stage. This tender aims to re-tender the existing Chaplaincy Services contract, set to expire in March 2023, with a projected contract value of £350,000. Interested parties are invited to express their interest by emailing the contact person, Mark Edwards, by 17:00 on 20th June 2022. Network Rail seeks to gauge potential suppliers capable of providing round-the-clock emotional support services to rail staff during traumatic incidents.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in health and social support services, particularly those with expertise in emotional and psychological support. Companies that can deliver innovative, proactive, and integrated services, and that have experience working within the rail industry or similar sectors will be especially well-suited to compete. Given the demand for comprehensive support for a workforce of approximately 43,000 employees, businesses capable of providing tailored, confidential services to front-line staff and their families may find this tender particularly advantageous for growth and expansion.
