## Summary

The NHS BLMK Clinical Commissioning Group is in the process of awarding a contract titled "Central Bedfordshire (4 Practices) PCN DES 2022/23," which falls under the health services industry category. Located in Central Bedfordshire, this procurement is currently in the Award stage, with the contract value set at £1,242,556 for a ten-month term commencing in June 2022. The procurement method used is limited, specifically negotiated without the publication of a contract notice, due to extreme urgency stemming from four practices opting out of the network services. The contract was signed on 31st March 2022, with the intention to ensure continuity of healthcare services to affected patients.

This tender presents an opportunity for healthcare providers, particularly those offering general practitioner services, to expand their operations within Central Bedfordshire. Businesses that have a strong local presence and experience in delivering PCN services would be well-suited to compete, especially those capable of rapidly mobilising to meet the specific and urgent needs outlined by the NHS BLMK Clinical Commissioning Group. Such contracts not only help secure revenue streams but also enhance the ability to contribute to community healthcare needs effectively.
