## Summary

The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority is planning to procure a Transition Partner for the STEP programme, aimed at preparing for the next operational phase of the initiative. The procurement process, categorised under services with a focus on business services such as law, marketing, and consulting, is in the planning stage. The anticipated contract, expected to last until March 2024 with an option for a one-year extension, is valued at approximately £7 million, with significant activities set to commence in April 2024. The delivery location for this project will be in Oxford, UK, with a future notice date of 30 June 2022.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in consultancy, project management, and operational support, particularly those with experience in agile and collaborative approaches to complex projects. Companies with expertise in establishing corporate and operational frameworks will be well-positioned to compete in this process, which aims to engage industrial partners for the comprehensive delivery of the programme's next phase. Given the significant contract value and scope, this could be a strategic opportunity for businesses looking to contribute to government-backed initiatives in the energy sector.
