The two sites opposite each other on Clements Road will provide a total of 94 dwellings. The existing two council blocks which currently occupy the sites will be demolished separately by others prior to commencement of the Main works, including the construction of a new UKPN substation at the rear of the 22-26 Clements Rd site. Building A is a ground plus 9-storey high building consists of 54 dwellings of 1 to 2 bedroom flats. Part of the ground floor will be a commercial space and to be fitted out by others. The gross internal floor area is approximately 3,955m2. There is a landscaped garden area to the rear. Building B (22-26 Clements Road) is a ground floor plus 10-storey high building consists of 40 dwellings of studio, 1 and 2 bedroom flats. The gross internal area is approximately 3012m2. There is a landscaped garden area to the rear and also containing a new UKPN substation.
