## Summary

The Ministry of Defence is planning a tender for the Future Integrated User Services (F-IUS) Mobile Voice and Data Services, with a focus on mobile management and telecommunications. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with an expected transition of services from the current contract by mid-2024. The planned contract aims to consolidate various mobile services essential for Defence operations, covering all aspects of mobile management, including security and application services. Interested parties are encouraged to participate in the Industry Day scheduled for 28th June 2022, which will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in telecommunications and mobile management services, particularly those with capabilities in security services and technical support. Companies that excel in innovation and have experience with Defence contracts will be well-positioned to compete for this contract. The integration of F-IUS services into Defence operations not only ensures continuity but also opens avenues for improving operational effectiveness, thereby allowing successful bidders to support the MOD's strategic goals while growing their market presence in the defence sector.
