The business objective of this procurement is to provide support and maintenance of the Agency's existing BancTec scanning equipment.

Options: Option to extend by a further 12 months on a 6 monthly basis following expiry of the initial term.

### Procurement Information

We are looking to extend this contract under 32 (2) (b) (ii) of PCR15. Excela were formally known as BancTec and therefore are the only supplier on the market that can provide the S&M for the machinery owned by the Agency. Given the delay in the delivery of transformation projects to create a digital organisation, and the age of the machinery, it's likely the supplier will only be able to provide the service on a best endeavours basis as sourcing parts is becoming difficult as there are very few decommissioned machines left and these parts are no longer manufactured.
