## Summary

The University of Central Lancashire has completed the tender process for the procurement titled "Managing UKVI Compliance for Ad Hoc Workers" in the goods category within the Compliance software package industry. The University sought a SaaS solution to manage Right to Work checks for ad hoc workers efficiently. The tender was awarded to Dashboard Technology Limited. The procurement method used was an open procedure, and the contract worth £360,059.22 was signed on 11th October 2022.

This procurement opportunity presents potential business growth for suppliers offering software solutions for compliance management, especially in the field of Right to Work checks. Businesses providing SaaS solutions geared towards managing compliance risks and ensuring workforce legality would be well-suited to compete. The University of Central Lancashire's requirement for a technologically advanced solution tailored to its specific needs offers a niche market opportunity for specialised software providers looking to expand their clientele in the compliance software industry.

## Notice

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE NOT AN OPPORTUNITY. A number of our students, along with external individuals undertake small, individual pieces of work for the University on an ad hoc basis. As workers, all are required to undertake a Right to Work (RTW) check before any work is carried out and abide by any limitations imposed if they are studying under a tier 4 visa. In order to manage and therefore mitigate these risks, the University required a system solution to prevent breaches and ensure that workers can only be commissioned for work in the first instance where a Right to Work (RTW) check has taken place, where the worker is available and not already booked for other work or has other work pending, and where the work remains within any restrictions imposed by a Visa. The University required this to be provided by a SaaS solution.
