## Summary

The procurement process initiated by NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, focuses on the provision of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) training for overseas nurses beginning employment in Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). This tender falls under the health services industry category and is currently at the active tender stage, with a submission deadline set for 18th July 2022. The procurement method is classified as an open procedure, and the services will be carried out in locations including Ysbyty Gwynedd and Wrexham Maelor Hospital, with an anticipated contract duration of 360 days and potential extensions available for a further 24 months.

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth for companies specialising in healthcare training and education, particularly those with experience in nursing and clinical examinations. Businesses capable of providing robust training solutions tailored for overseas nurses would be particularly well-suited to compete in this tender. The requirement for a mobile lithotripter service for urology procedures further opens avenues for related service providers looking to establish contracts within the public health sector.
