## Notice

Telephone interviews replaced face-to-face interview between May 2020 and March 2022 following the introduction of covid-19 restrictions. The ONS has been undertaking a programme of transformation for the CSEW and it is expected that the survey will operate as a mixed mode longitudinal survey in the future. The contract will require a mixed mode approach to fieldwork to deliver at least 70,000 interviews a year.
