## Summary

Nottinghamshire County Council, in collaboration with the NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Partnership, has completed the third round of the "Ageing Well Care Homes Framework". This procurement process, classified under Health and Social Work Services (CPV code 85000000), aims to engage experienced providers of care home services to join their Framework Agreement. The award stage concluded on 2nd October 2024, following an open procedure procurement method. Key deadlines included various contract awards throughout 2024, with total contract values amounting to £100,000,000 (excluding VAT) per lot. Locations involved spanned across Nottinghamshire, including areas like West Bridgford and Greater Manchester. The primary focus was on services for older individuals typically aged 65 and over, requiring placements in CQC-registered establishments.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for providers of care home services, particularly those experienced in delivering quality care to older adults. Successful contractors included SMEs such as Broadoak Group of Homes and larger entities like Belvoir Vale Care Homes Limited. Businesses adept at offering 24-hour accommodation, care, and support for older adults, including nursing, respite care, and other specialised services, would find this framework beneficial. The reliance on both local and regional providers also underscores a diverse range of opportunities for businesses ready to operate within Nottinghamshire and beyond, ensuring comprehensive coverage for the care needs of the region’s elderly population.
