We require a custom-built external weather control unit for studying plant disease and health using real-world weather and climatic conditions. The unit will address plant research gap that sits somewhere between the current portfolio of controlled environmental technologies and large field studies. Specification 1. External unit with the footprint of 16m by 8m. 2. The external unit needs to contain 4 independent walk-in chambers for plant growth with independent access, ambient controls and air handling. 3. Facility to handle multiple controlled environments (temperature, light, rain-sensing, wind speed and direction) from a single central location allowing the complete programming, monitoring and recording of all the controlled environments within the chambers. 4. Weather Station Control allowing diurnal and seasonal adjustments based on climate data retrieved from any geographical location in the world. 5. The ability to continuously record all settings, readings, and other significant parameters as distinct recorded channels (up to 1 second intervals) to support the complete reconstruction of any control or monitoring situation.
