The Police and Crime Commissioner for West Mercia (the Authority) is seeking to gauge interest from potential providers of Detention Officer Services for Police Custody. This service is for the third party recruitment, provision and management of Detention Officers to operate within police managed custody suites across the West Mercia geography. The Authority is currently undertaking an options review of how this service will be delivered in future and need to establish the likely levels of interest in order to inform the option to continue outsourcing this service. If a tender was released the contract would commence on 1/2/2023. The contract term would be for 3 years with 24 months extension period. Please note that this is a PIN only and no warranty is offered that the Authority shall subsequently go out to tender. At this stage, the Authority just wishes to obtain interest and any high level information from potential service providers. Additional information: Please note that all dates indicated are estimated only.
