## Summary

The Home Office is currently planning a tender for the provision of Drones & Thermal Imaging training, specifically aimed at developing and delivering a remote sensing course comprising two modules: drone operations and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This opportunity is classed under the goods category and has a budget of £1,500,000. Interested organisations must express their interest by 23:59 on Saturday, 13th August 2022, with a potential start date for the training programme set for 3rd October 2022. The training will initially be conducted in the UK, with the possibility of future courses abroad.

This tender presents a lucrative opportunity for businesses engaged in training services, particularly those with expertise in drone technology and GIS applications. Companies that can provide either of the course modules or both are encouraged to apply; those already on government frameworks may have an advantage. This initiative aims to enhance capabilities in wildlife and environmental crime detection, making it particularly relevant for firms operating within the environmental safety and law enforcement sectors.
