## Notice

Bassetlaw District Council is seeking tenders to appoint the services of suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to provide a supplemental Programmed, Planned and Responsive repairs service. Tenderers shall be deemed to have submitted their rates with a full understanding of the nature of the scope and volume of work and will not be entitled to claim for loss of profit, or any other costs resulting from an alteration in the scope or volume. The Council will award the Contract(s) commencing approximately 4 weeks after tender submission with a contract end date of 31st March 2025. The Council reserves the right to offer an extension of the Contract for a further year pending agreements with all parties to the Contract. Subject to suitability, the Council is seeking to appoint up to 4 Contractors for this contract. The highest scoring tenderer(s) in each Section will become the preferred 'default' contractor(s) for those works with the remaining contractors being awarded works if conditions exist where the default contractor(s) becomes unable to undertake the works for whatever reason. The Contractor will operate under the conditions of the JCT Measured Term Contract 2016.

Lot 1

The Council has its own in-house repairs service that undertakes a proportion of this work, however demand often outweighs this capacity, thus additional contractors are required to ensure the Council can fulfil its repair obligations. We are looking for Contractors who can undertake some or all of the following works, which may involve the replacement of single or multiple building elements in the following areas: * Drainage and Groundworks * Fencing * Pitched roofing works * Flat roofing works * Various external property maintenance works * Various internal property maintenance works * Demolition works * Electrical works * Painting and Decorating

Lot 1 Drainage

The Council has its own in-house repairs service that undertakes a proportion of this work, however demand often outweighs this capacity, thus additional contractors are required to ensure the Council can fulfil its repair obligations.
