The Software licenses were purchased previously through an Open procedure.To maintain the current perpetual licenses, maintenance and support services are required from the manufacturer of the software. The Contract will be for a three year period.

### Procurement Information

The services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: Reg 32.2(b)(ii) -competition is absent for technical reasons Reg 32.2(b)(ii) - The protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights. Due to propriety licenses , only the software manufacturer can provide the support and maintenance required.
